PHILADELPHIA — A Philadelphia jeweler is suing a Michigan company, citing alleged unfair competition.
Steven Singer Jewelers Inc. filed a complaint on Feb. 14 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of
Gold Rose USA and Joseph Waldrop, d/b/a Gold Rose USA,
alleging that they used the plaintiff's marks in advertising their product.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it sustained damages to its business. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly failed and refused to cease using the Steven Singer marks to advertise their products.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks enjoin the defendant, pay the plaintiff for damages and profits, court costs and any further relief this court grants. The plaintiff is represented by Danielle M. Karcich of McCarter & English LLP in Philadelphia.
