PHILADELPHIA — Four employees are suing Transdermal Specialties Inc., Transdermal Specialties Global Inc. and president Bruce K. Redding Jr. and his intellectual property trust, citing alleged unpaid wages, violation of applicable minimum wage law, violation of state law and violation of Workers' Compensation acts.
Yocheved Shmuely, Yoni Dulitzki, Debra S. Hackett and Quynh H. Nguyen filed a complaint on April 12 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against the defendants alleging that they failed to properly compensate their employees for their work. The defendant company deals in medical and cosmetic technology.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they sustained damages from not being paid wages at the legal minimum rate. The plaintiffs hold the defendants responsible because they allegedly failed to pay overtime wages to the plaintiffs for working more than 40 hours per week.
The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek unpaid wages, unpaid overtime wages, liquidated damages, interest, court costs and any further relief this court grants. They are represented by Stephanie J. Mensing of Mensing Law LLC in Philadelphia.
