PITTSBURGH — A field employee is suing Killion and Sons Well Service Inc., an oil and gas drilling company, citing alleged unpaid wages, violation of applicable minimum wage law, violation of state law, and violation of Workers' Compensation acts.
Tyler McDougal filed a complaint on April 13 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania against Killion and Sons alleging that the employer failed to provide proper wages to the plaintiff for his work.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he sustained damages from not being paid overtime compensation. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible because it allegedly failed to pay overtime premiums to the plaintiff despite the fact that he worked weeks of over 40 hours.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks unpaid wages, overtime wages, interest, liquidated damages, court costs and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Samuel J. Pasquarelli of Sherrard, German & Kelly P.C. in Pittsburgh.
