Woman alleges negligence, trespassing against CIT Bank

PHILADELPHIA — An individual is suing CIT Bank and Safeguard Properties, citing alleged intentional infliction of emotional distress and negligence.

Drema Odell filed a complaint pro se on April 24 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against the defendants alleging trespass and negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she sustained damages from the defendant's actions. The plaintiff holds CIT Bank and Safeguard Properties responsible because it allegedly allowed another person to enter the plaintiff's house without her consent.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount no less than $96,599 for emotional distress, an amount no less than $289,797 for punitive damages, court costs and any further relief this court grants.
