Connecticut man says home flippers deceived in order to secure loans

Law money 10

PHILADELPHIA — An individual is suing Marat Tsirelson; Igor Shrayev Ireit LLC d/b/a Loan Service Systems d/b/a Amex Card Processing Services d/b/a Amex Card Procesing Ireit Inc.; GM Home Inc. d/b/a GM Realty; and GMA Realty Network Inc., alleging breach of contract.

Michael Kuchmek, of Connecticut, filed a complaint on May 17 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against the defendants alleging that they made false representations of the state of their business, which was purchasing and restoring homes for sale, to the plaintiff in order to continue to borrow money. At the time of the filing, the defendants also allegedly had not made any payments to the plaintiff for five months.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he was financially damaged due to unpaid loans. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly continued to borrow money from the plaintiff despite knowing that they wouldn't be able to pay it back.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants for damages that exceed $1,800,000, consequential damages, punitive damages and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by David L. Hall and Richard D. Gallucci Jr. of Wiggin and Dana LLP in Philadelphia.
