PITTSBURGH — A local carpenters union is suing Vincent Isoldi, Erik Weaver and Nicholas Geanopolds, alleging breach of contract for not making regular payments to the group's funds.

Carpenters Combined Funds Inc., for the Greater Pennsylvania Regional District Council of Carpenters, filed a complaint on May 17 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania against the defendants, who operate Nuway Scaffolding, alleging that they failed to remit their monthly contributions to the plaintiff's organization.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that the organization was damaged due to the unpaid contributions. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly breached their agreement with the plaintiff by failing to remit their employees' contributions.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in the amount of $18,321.93 plus interest and court costs. They are represented by Jeffrey J. Leech and Neil J. Gregorio of Tucker Arensberg P.C. in Pittsburgh.
