Employees of Alma Mater restaurant in Philadelphia sue over allegedly unpaid wages

PHILADELPHIA — Three restaurant employees are suing Colash LLC, Anne Mary Rivers and R. Jake Sudderth, alleging unpaid wages and violation of Workers' Compensation acts.

Morgan Malachi, Mallori Malachi and Jeremy Gunn filed a complaint on May 23 in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against the defendants alleging that they failed to pay fair compensation to the plaintiffs.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they were damaged from not being properly compensated for their work as kitchen staff in the Alma Mater restaurant in Philadelphia. The plaintiffs holds Colash and the two individual defendants responsible because they allegedly failed and refused to compensate the plaintiffs.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek injunction against the defendants, back wages, wage damages, liquidated damages, interest, court costs and any further relief this court grants. They are represented by Steven T. Auerbach of the Law Office of Steven T. Auerbach in Narbeth.
