Cordicate IT and founders sued for withholding, mishandling retirement benefits

Contract 05

PHILADELPHIA — A man is suing Cordicate IT LLC, Cordicate 401(K) Retirement Plan, and plan trustees Michael Sean Baird and Joseph Reuben, citing alleged breach of contract.

Stephen A. Oles of Doylestown filed a complaint on May 30 in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against the defendants alleging that they withheld benefits rightfully owed to the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he was damaged from having his benefits denied and having been "frozen out" of the company and his interests in it. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly terminated his existing plan and wrongfully withdrew benefits from the plaintiff's 401(k) account.

The plaintiff seeks the restoration of $16,581 in benefits owed to his 401(k) account, plus earnings, court costs and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Randal S. White and Andrew W. Bonekemper of Fox Rothschild LLP in Blue Bell.
