Golo claims Skinny With Fiber website made false statements about its business

PHILADELPHIA — A weight-loss program provider is suing Skinny With Fiber, a website, alleging negligent misrepresentation and unfair competition.

Golo LLC filed a complaint on June 6 in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against the online company alleging that it published defamatory statements regarding the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages to its business. The plaintiff holds Skinny With Fiber responsible because it allegedly made intentionally misleading statements which caused damage to the plaintiff's business. 

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks compensatory and punitive damages, court costs and any further relief this court grants. It is represented by M. Kelly Tillery of Pepper Hamilton LLP in Philadelphia.
