PHILADELPHIA —  A Washington company is suing a Bensalem woman over alleged copyright infringement related to the development of a video game.

Imagos Films LLC, which does business as Imagos Softworks, and Don Thacker filed a complaint on June 30 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against Alexander Thomas Mauer, alleging that the Pennsylvania resident falsely claims ownership rights to the plaintiff's video game..

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that Imagos Films and Thacker sustained financial damages from being threatened by the defendant. The plaintiffs hold Thomas Mauer responsible because the defendant allegedly asserted claims on the plaintiff's works.

The plaintiffs seek to order the defendant to cease all threats and intimidation efforts and to enjoin the defendant. They are asking for actual damages, special and/ or extra damages, court costs and any further relief the court grants. They are represented by Leonard J. French of Leonard J.
