Consumer seeks more than $30,000 from William Novick Agency LLC, others over phone calls

PHILADELPHIA – A Jenkintown man alleges he was unlawfully solicited over the phone for insurance products and services.

Andrew R. Perrong filed a complaint on Sept. 19 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against the William Novick Agency LLC; William Novick, individually and as CEO/president/principal of WNA; The Allstate Corp.; Allstate Insurance Co.; and Does 1 through 100 citing the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. 

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that beginning in July 1, the defendants called him using an automatic telephone dialing system without his consent.

The plaintiffs hold the defendants responsible because the defendants allegedly called the plaintiff using an autodialer despite having his number on the Federal Do-Not-Call registry.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seeks statutory damages of $31,500; compensatory, general, incidental and consequential damages; punitive and special damages; interest; court costs; and any further relief the court grants. He is representing himself.
