PHILADELPHIA – A New Jersey company is alleged to have failed to pay contributions to labor union funds.

Plumbers Union Local No. 690, and Trustees of the Plumbers Local Union No. 690 Pension Plan; et al. filed a complaint on Sept. 27 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against J.R. McGee Plumbing LLC and James McGee citing the Employee Retirement Income Security Act and breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that the defendants reported but did not pay contributions from April 2016 to the present. They allege that they are owed $148,728.67 in delinquent contributions and $112,319.52 in dues and assessments that were taken from employees' paychecks but not sent to the plaintiffs.

The plaintiffs seek the monies owed, interest, court costs, all contributions and liquidated damages, interest on all late filed contributions, enjoin the defendants and any further relief the court grants. They are represented by Robert P. Curley of O'Donoghue & O'Donoghue in Philadelphia.
