According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she became disabled from her occupation as a clinical nurse II for Tenet Healthcare Corp. and that the defendant denied her claims for benefits.

The plaintiff holds Unum Life Insurance Co. of America responsible because the defendant allegedly denied plaintiff's claim for disability benefits without taking into consideration the evidence supporting her claim.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in the amount of 60 percent of the plaintiff's gross monthly salary, court costs, interest and any further relief the court grants. She is represented by Jamie R. Hall of Law Office of Jamie R. Hall in Kennett Square.
