Strike 3 Holdings LLC alleges individual infringed 26 adult films

PHILADELPHIA – A Delaware company and owner of adult motion pictures alleges that its works have been unlawfully distributed online.

Strike 3 Holdings LLC filed a complaint on Jan. 18 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against John Doe subscriber assigned IP address 71.230.92.16 alleging copyright infringement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that the defendant downloaded and distributed 26 of its adult films online using BitTorrent.

The plaintiff alleges it used geolocation technology to trace the defendant's IP address to a physical location in the court's district.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks to enjoin the defendant from further infringing plaintiff's copyrighted works, order the defendant to delete all of plaintiff's media files, statutory damages, court costs and any further relief the court grants.
