Eisler Landscapes Inc. alleged to have performed defective work

PITTSBURGH – The owners of a Pittsburgh property allege a landscaping contractor performed defective work.

Brian Lutes and Kathy Lutes filed a complaint on Feb. 20 in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County against Eisler Landscapes Inc. alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that in February 2017, they entered into a contract with the defendant for landscaping at their home. They allege the defendant committed numerous errors during the project, including a failure to comply with project drawings and a failure to account for ordinance and code requirements during the design phase. They allege the received a quote for $121,800 to repair the defendant's defective work.

The plaintiffs hold Eisler Landscapes Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly breached its contractual agreement by failing to perform satisfactory work.

The plaintiffs seek judgment against the defendant in an amount of more than $55,000 plus interest, court costs and any further relief the court grants. They are represented by Jason L. Richey and Erin D. Fleury of K&L Gates LLP in Pittsburgh.
