PITTSBURGH – An Allegheny County consumer alleges that her credit profile has been damaged because of incorrect information on her credit report.

Lisa Inzinga filed a complaint on March 8 in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County against CitiMortgage Inc. alleging violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff's debts, including a mortgage that was later assigned to the defendant, were discharged after she filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in 1998. The suit states the defendant began reporting payments on the discharged loan as late in March 2015 and failed to report that the loan had been discharged.

The plaintiff holds CitiMortgage Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to investigate, review and correct its records and failed to report accurately to Equifax.

The plaintiff seeks actual damages, statutory and punitive damages, court costs and any further relief the court grants. She is represented by Jeffrey L. Suher of Dell, Moser, Lane & Loughney LLC in Pittsburgh.
