PITTSBURGH — An individual is suing Kip Mostowy, an employer, for allegedly failing to properly pay him for overtime work.

Patrick F. Stewart filed a complaint on March 21 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, alleging that the defendant failed to properly compensate him for his work.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he was not paid overtime wages despite several requests for payment. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly reprimanding him for submitting his overtime hours. He claims that instead of being paid what he allegedly was owed, he allegedly was terminated for complaining.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks to enjoin the defendant and order the defendant to compensate and reimburse him. He also is seeking back pay, front pay, salary, pay increases, bonuses, other benefits, actual damages, punitive damages, court costs and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Timothy M. Kolman and Wayne A. Ely of Kolman Ely P.C. in Penndel, Pa.
