PHILADELPHIA — A used car dealership is suing Christopher Monticello, a former CEO of the now-defunct Auto Leasing Services of South Florida LLC, for allegedly breaching two commercial motor vehicle lease agreements.
Fleetway Leasing Company filed a complaint on April 9 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, alleging that the defendant failed to perform his obligations under the agreements.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it leased cars to the plaintiff under two separate lease agreements. The plaintiff claims that the defendant then defaulted on his obligations under the agreements. As a result of defendant's alleged conduct, the plaintiff allegedly suffered damages in excess of $506,680.98. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to make payments.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of more than $506,680.98, plus $5,646.70 to repair a vehicle, interest, attorney's fees, costs and all further relief that is appropriate. The plaintiff is represented by Evan L. Frank of Alan L. Frank Law Associates PC in Jenkintown.
