PHILADELPHIA — An individual is suing 49th and Spruce Street Associates LP and Kfir Binnfeld for allegedly failing to pay overtime wages.
Antonio Santos Garcia filed a complaint on April 18 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, alleging that the defendants violated the Fair Labor Standards Act and the Pennsylvania Minimum Wage Act.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he regularly worked more than 40 hours per week for the defendant without receiving overtime pay. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to maintain accurate time records and pay overtime wages.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks unpaid wages, liquidated damages, attorney's fees, costs, post-judgment interest and any other equitable relief. He is represented by Michael Murphy of Murphy Law Group LLC in Philadelphia.
