Powell Trachtman PC accused of failing to pay overtime wages

PHILADELPHIA — An individual has filed a class action lawsuit against Powell Trachtman PC, Powell Legal Group PC and other companies and individuals for allegedly failing to pay overtime compensation.

Tamalyn S. Anen filed a complaint on May 22 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, alleging that the defendants violated the Fair Labor Standards Act and the Pennsylvania Minimum Wage Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she regularly worked at least 45 hours per week without receiving any overtime compensation. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to pay her overtime wages for all the hours she worked in excess of 40 per week.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks an order permitting this case to proceed as a collective action, plus unpaid overtime/wages, liquidated damages, interest, attorney’s fees, costs and any other just and proper relief. She is represented by Scott M. Pollins of Pollins Law in Swarthmore.
