Kaitlyn R. Maxwell, a member of the Environmental Practice at global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, will speak on a webinar hosted by the Pennsylvania Bar Institute July 22.
The webinar, titled “Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) – Regulation, Liabilities, and Potential Cost Recovery,” will provide an overview of PFAS, address Pennsylvania’s plans to investigate potential PFAS contamination in public water supplies and identify potential ways PFAS contamination can impact real estate transactions. The webinar will also cover the implications of defining certain PFAS as “hazardous substances” as well as recent actions taken by the EPA and FDA.
