GREENBERG TRAURIG: 12 Greenberg Traurig Philadelphia Attorneys Recognized in 2020 Edition of Best Lawyers in America

Award

Greenberg Traurig LLP issued the following announcement on Aug. 16.

The Philadelphia office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig LLP captured a dozen slots across seven practice areas in the 2020 edition of Best Lawyers in America, increasing its tally with two newcomers to the annual independent ranking.

The annual guide listed more attorneys from Greenberg Traurig, LLP than from any other firm, for the 13th consecutive year. Overall, 26 were named “Lawyer of the Year,” and nearly 400 U.S. attorneys were recognized in this guide – about 1 in 4 of the firm’s attorneys in the country.

In Philadelphia, Joel Eads and Robert D. Lane Jr. made their Best Lawyers of America list debut this year. Eads, a commercial litigator, focuses his practice on securities class and derivative actions, with considerable experience in the realm of insurance-based disputes. Lane, a veteran real estate dealmaker, serves as the Philadelphia Real Estate Practice Leader at the firm and provides full-spectrum legal services for a variety of clients and industries.

“It’s satisfying to note the esteem granted to you and your work by your colleagues, and this honor is no exception,” said Philadelphia Managing Shareholder Curtis B. Toll, also ranked by Best Lawyers. “From both a firm and office perspective, we continue to grow substantively, and this is another reflection of that fact.”

Among the other Philadelphia lawyers honored in the 2020 edition:

James N. Boudreau, for litigation in labor and employment law

Kelly Dobbs Bunting, for litigation in labor and employment law
