MEDIA – A Yeadon restaurant is facing a lawsuit filed by a Philadelphia woman who allegedly swallowed a fish bone that became lodged in her throat while dining there.

Monique Jackson filed a complaint Nov. 6 in the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas against Visions Restaurant and Nathaniel Fields alleging negligence.

Jackson alleges she was eating a fish sandwich at Visions on Sept. 30, 2018, when a fish bone became lodged in her throat. She claims in her suit that the restaurant failed to inspect the food for safety purposes or train employees on safe and proper food handling and preparation.

Jackson seeks an amount not in excess of the arbitration limits and other just relief. She is represented by Jeffrey Rosenbaum of The Rosenbaum and Associates Law Firm PC in Philadelphia.
