Commonwealth Court upholds dismissal of former PLCB employee's discrimination claim

The Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania upheld a Dec. 8, 2016 State Civil Service Commission order dismissing a discrimination and retaliation claim filed by a former probationary seasonal liquor store clerk against the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board, according to an opinion entered Sept. 25.

PITTSBURGH – A Verona woman who allegedly fell on a carpet at the Rivertowne Inn is suing the restaurant’s parent company and the company that provided carpets to the establishment, while one of the defendants is challenging the claim that she fell.
