Three women have filed a class action lawsuit against Kohl’s and Capital One, alleging deceptive tactics in credit card charges.

Jennifer Gordon, Valerie Tantlinger and Jennifer Underwood filed the lawsuit Feb. 13 in U.S. District Court of Eastern Pennsylvania against Kohl’s Corporation and Capital One Financial Corporation.

According to the complaint, in 2013, Gordon noticed she had been billed for two years for a payment protection plan she did not authorize. She said she never received her money back, the suit states, and the two other plaintiffs allege the same deceptive practices.

The women are represented by attorneys at Salz, Mongeluzzi, Barrett & Bendesky in Philadelphia.
