Rolling Thunder sued after visitor trips on dustpan

A Philadelphia resident is suing after allegedly sustaining injury at a skating center.

Carolyn Stegall filed a lawsuit Feb. 24 in the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas against Boulevard Ventures LLC, doing business as Rolling Thunder Skating Center, and doing business as Rolling Thunder, citing negligence.

According to the complaint, on June 22, 2012, Stegall was on the defendant's premises at 7017 Roosevelt Blvd., Philadelphia, when she fell on a hidden broom and/or dustpan. The complaint states the defendant's negligence caused the plaintiff's injuries.

Stegall is seeking more than $50,000 in damages, plus costs. The plaintiff is being represented in the case by David L. Woloshin, Dina S. Ronsayro, Jordan Schlossberg and Adam D. Flager of Astor Weiss Kaplan & Mandel LLP.
