America's Cash Express sued over sidewalk injury

A Philadelphia resident is suing over claims an unsafe sidewalk caused injuries.

Wanda Harris filed a lawsuit Feb. 24 in the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas against America's Cash Express, Ace Cash Express Inc., doing business as America's Cash Express, Randy Leibowitz, Sondra Metzger, Randy Leibowitz and Sondra Metzger as trustees of the Michael Canino trust and the city of Philadelphia, citing premise liability.

According to the complaint, on May 11, 2012, Harris was on the defendants' sidewalk at 4244 N. Broad St., Philadelphia, and fell due to uneven concrete. The complaint states the defendants' negligence caused the plaintiff's injuries.

Harris is seeking damages in excess of arbitration limits. The plaintiff is being represented in the case by Jeffrey M. Rosenbaum of Rosenbaum and Associates PC.
