Fired

A Cumberland County resident filed suit against the U.S. Postal Service and the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) claiming that she was unjustly fired.

Cynthia Powers of Mechanicsburg filed lawsuit against the U.S. Postal Service and Branch 500 of the NALC on Sept 8 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. Powers alleges that after she was wrongfully terminated from the U.S. Postal Service in March and NALC refused to intervene on her behalf, citing a collective bargaining agreement that was already in place.
