Ohio company sues US Crossings Unlimited alleging failure to pay fees

Piping

PITTSBURGH – An Ohio-based subcontractor company is suing a Cranberry Township company for failure to uphold agreed-upon terms, namely failure to pay the plaintiff for labor.

Clearpath Utility Solutions LLC filed a complaint on Dec. 9 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania against US Crossings Unlimited LLC claiming failure to pay the plaintiff for completed work.

The plaintiff entered into an agreement with the defendant in September to lay 850 feet of metal piping in the ground for a gas well in Greene County, the complaint states. After completing the work, the plaintiff alleges it did not receive compensation for the labor. The amount which is owed to the plaintiff is in excess of $400,000, and the plaintiff is suing the defendant for refusal to pay this amount, the complaint states.

Clearpath is seeking compensation for all lost pay plus interest, as well as all legal fees. The plaintiff is represented by Nicholas D. Krawec of Bernstein-Burkey PC in Pittsburgh.
