Woman seeks damages from Coca-Cola following claims of discrimination

PHILADELPHIA – A Jonestown woman is seeking damages following her claim of workplace discrimination at Coca-Cola.

Heather Rorabaugh filed a complaint Jan. 6 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against Coca-Cola Refreshments Inc., alleging discrimination and violations of the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act.

According to the claim, the plaintiff was employed by the defendant when the discrimination took place. Rorabaugh filed an Equal Employment Opportunity Commission complaint explaining the retaliation and discrimination which she claims to have been subjected to. Among these claims, the plaintiff says that she suffered from gender discrimination, retaliation and an overall hostile workplace while employed by Coca-Cola.

Rorabaugh seeks damages for lost wages, benefits, humiliation, pain, suffering and legal fees. She is represented by Timothy M. Kolman, Wayne A. Ely and W. Charles Sipio of Kolman Ely PC in Penndel.
