PHILADELPHIA — A consumer is suing Navient Solutions Inc. and Does 1-10, Arizona corporation, citing alleged violation of telephone harassment statutes.
Robert Bersler filed a complaint on April 11 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against the defendants, alleging that they violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

He has never provided them his contact number nor has given them express permission to call him. The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant for statutory damages of $500 for each violation and $1,500 for each willful and/or knowing violations and for such other relief as may be just and proper.
