HARRISBURG — A successor in interest is suing a loan guarantor, citing alleged breach of a loan guaranty agreement.
Peoples Security Bank & Trust Co., successor in interest to Peoples National Bank, filed a complaint on May 3 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania against Dr. Muhammad Hassan, alleging that the guarantor allegedly failed to comply with the loan guaranty.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that as of April 28, it has suffered losses in the total amount of $310,037.03 for non-payment of a loan to borrower Binghamton Luxury Apts. LLC. The plaintiff holds Hassan responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to make payments under the guaranty.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the guarantor for $310,037.03, plus accrued interest from April 28, reasonable attorneys' fees and costs until paid. It is represented by James T. Shoemaker and H. Chris Kang of Hourigan, Kluger & Quinn in Kingston.
