PENNSYLVANIA — A man is suing Hartt Transportation Systems Inc. and Dana A. Wing, alleging negligence and insufficient measures taken to prevent injuries and negligence.
Daniel J. Spath filed a complaint on Aug. 2 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania against the defendants, alleging that Wing failed to properly control his tractor-trailer, causing it to jackknife and collide with the plaintiff's police interceptor.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Dec. 11, 2014, he sustained physical injuries to his right leg and back. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because Wing allegedly failed to keep a proper lookout while operating his vehicle, causing it to collide with the plaintiff's police interceptor.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount in excess of $75,000. He is represented by Jamie Joseph Anzalone and Kelly M. Ciravolo of Anzalone Law Offices in Wilkes-Barre.
