Law money 13

PITTSBURGH – A Petrolia man alleges a Seven Fields company did not properly pay him for all hours worked.

Scott Collier filed a complaint on Aug. 1 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania against Keystone Clearwater Solutions LLC alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act and the Pennsylvania Wage Payment and Collection Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he worked for more than 40 hours per workweek without being paid any overtime wages from September 2014 until he was laid off in March. The plaintiff holds Keystone Clearwater Solutions LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay overtime premium of one-and-one-half times to plaintiff.

The plaintiff seeks unpaid back wages and severance package, liquidated damages, court costs and any further relief the court grants. He is represented by Ronald T. Elliot of Dillon McCandless King Coulter & Graham LLP in Butler.
