Woman claims credit information was inaccurate

Law money 05

PHILADELPHIA — A woman is suing TransUnion LLC, Experian Information Solutions Inc., Equifax Information Services LLC and Quality Asset Recovery LLC, consumer reporting agencies, citing alleged negligent misrepresentation.

Katherine L. Pagano filed a complaint on Aug. 5 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against the defendants, alleging that they reported inaccurate information regarding her credit history.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she sustained damages in the form of lost credit opportunities and harm to her credit reputation. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to delete inaccurate information on the plaintiff's file after a reinvestigation.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks actual damages, statutory damages, punitive damages, an order to permanently delete all inaccurate information regarding her credit report and any further relief the court grants. She is represented by Brent F. Vullings of Vullings Law Group LLC in Collegeville.
