Government seeks debt repayment

Late 04

PHILADELPHIA — The federal government is suing Vilma J. Linares, alleging unpaid debt.

The United States of America filed a complaint on Aug. 15 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against Linares, alleging that the individual failed to settle her debt to the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages from the unpaid debt. The plaintiff holds Linares responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay the principal amount plus interest despite the plaintiff's demands.

The plaintiff seeks the amounts of $871.05 and $5,065.87, a filing fee of $150, interest and court costs. It is represented by Thomas I. Puleo of KML Law Group, P.C. in Philadelphia.
