PHILADELPHIA — A couple's lawsuit against Harrah's Atlantic City Propco LLC and Harrah's Atlantic City Operating Company LLC, hotel and casino operators, alleges negligence and insufficient measures taken to prevent injuries.
Matril Norris and Brenetta Norris filed a complaint on Aug. 25 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against the defendants, alleging that they failed to keep the floor of their premises dry.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on Sept. 4, 2014, Matril Norris sustained injuries when he slipped and fell. The plaintiffs hold the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to provide adequate warning or remove water from the floor.
The plaintiffs seek judgment against the defendants for damages plus court costs. They are represented by Mitchell S. Clair of Law Offices of Mitchell Clair in Blue Bell.
