PHILADELPHIA — Two consumers are suing Fred Beans Motors of Doylestown Inc. d/b/a Fred Beans Doylestown Subaru and/or d/b/a Fred Beans Subaru, alleging breach of contract, fraud, and negligent misrepresentation.
Holly Ann Wilson and Jimmy Clark Pee III filed a complaint on Aug. 31 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against the defendant, alleging that it misrepresented to the plaintiffs the terms of financing the vehicle the plaintiffs were buying.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they suffered damages from being given false information regarding the financing of the vehicle. The plaintiffs hold the defendant responsible for allegedly informing the plaintiffs that no additional paperwork was required during the day the plaintiffs came to purchase the car, but a few days later the defendant called to change the agreement including the interest rate for the car.
The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek actual damages, statutory damages, punitive damages, treble damages, court costs and any further relief the court grants. They are represented by Richard H. Kim and Kevin Kotch of The Kim Law Firm, LLC in Philadelphia.
