PITTSBURGH — A couple are suing Marlo Eleam and Pittsburgh for Kids Only Childcare Inc., a Pennsylvania business and its employee, alleging negligence and insufficient measures taken to prevent injuries.
Laura Garner and Greg Garner filed a complaint on Aug. 29 in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County against the defendants, alleging that Eleam drove a vehicle into the rear of a vehicle driven by Laura Garner.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on May 4, 2015, Laura Garner sustained physical injuries when her vehicle was struck by the vehicle driven by Eleam. The plaintiffs hold Eleam responsible for alleged negligent driving and Pittsburgh for Kids Only Childcare Inc. responsible for negligently entrusting driving duties to Eleam.
The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against the defendants in an amount that exceeds the jurisdictional limits of this court. They are represented by Joyce Novotny-Prettiman of QuatriniRafferty, P.C. in Greensburg.
