National Stores, others accused of failing to pay invoices

PHILADELPHIA — A Pennsylvania company is suing National Stores Inc., CPD 18 Corp. and Southern Island Stores LLC, alleging breach of contract by failing to pay for purchases.

Feinberg Realty Associates L.P. as assignee of clothing importer and manufacturer Leonard A. Feinberg Inc., filed a complaint on Sept. 9 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against the defendants, alleging that they failed to pay the plaintiff for purchases they ordered.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages from unpaid invoices. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly breaching their contractual agreements with the plaintiff by failing to pay the invoices sent by the plaintiff.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks an unpaid amount due of $416,072.51 plus interest and any further relief the court grants. It is represented by Barry L. Cohen and Sean S. Litz of Royer Cooper Cohen Braunfeld LLC in Conshohocken.
