PHILADELPHIA — A Georgia business is suing over an alleged failure to pay for its services.
United Arab Shipping Co. is suing Huatai USA LLC, a foreign corporation, citing alleged breach of contract.
United Arab Shipping Co. filed a complaint on Sept. 12 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against Huatai USA LLC, alleging that the foreign corporation failed to pay the plaintiff for its services.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that United Arab Shipping Co. suffered damages to its business. The plaintiff holds Huatai USA LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay what it owes the plaintiff.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant for $317,378.56 plus interest at the rate of 6 percent per annum, court costs and any further relief the court grants. It is represented by Michael R. Lessa of Amato Keating and Lessa, P.C. in Bethlehem.
