Man says Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation didn't process application

PITTSBURGH — A man is suing a government agency, alleging that he was improperly denied pension benefits.

William L. Hixson filed a complaint on Sept. 15 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania against Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation, alleging breach of duty.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he suffered damages from being denied his pension benefits, and he holds Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to process his application for benefits.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages, interest and court costs. He is represented by Zan Ivan Hodzic and Richard A. Porach of Hodzic & Porach LLC in Carnegie.
