Ironbridge Construction accused of not paying bill

Late 06

HARRISBURG — A Maryland corporation and the federal government are suing Virginia company Ironbridge Construction Inc. and Arch Insurance Company, citing alleged breach of contract.

Ellsworth Electric Inc. and United States of America for the use of Ellsworth Electric Inc. filed a complaint on Sept. 22 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania against the defendants, alleging that they failed to pay for a subcontract agreement and materials.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that in 2015, Ellsworth Electric Inc. and the United States of America for the use of Ellsworth Electric Inc. suffered monetary damages due to lack of payment. The plaintiffs hold Ironbridge Construction Inc. and Arch Insurance Company responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to make a full payment for the total amount owed.

The plaintiffs seek judgment against the defendant in the amount of $598,108.85 plus interest, court costs and any further relief the court grants. They are represented by Dean F. Piermattei and Jill N. Weikert of Rhoads & Sinon LLP in Harrisburg
