HARRISBURG — A former employee is suing Thomas Bross IV and Honey Locust Farms LLC, alleging unpaid wages and violation of workers compensation acts.

Hope Beck filed a complaint on Sept. 28 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania against the defendant, alleging it failed to provide fair compensation to the plaintiff for her work.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in 2013 and 2014, she worked for more than 40 hours per week without being paid overtime. The plaintiff holds Thomas Bross IV and Honey Locust Farms LLC responsible because they allegedly violated the requirement to pay an overtime premium.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks unpaid back wages at the applicable overtime rate of $44,780.60 plus statutory penalty of 25 percent or $11,195.15, court costs, pre-judgment interest and any further relief the court grants. She is represented by Joseph C. Korsak of Joseph C. Korsak, Esq. in York.
