Pension plan administrator alleges scheme to take money

WILLIAMSPORT — A pension plan administrator is suing John Jumper, Brent Porterfield, American Investments Fund I LLC, American Investments Fund II LLC and American Tubing Arkansas, alleging breach of contract and breach of duty.

Snow Shoe Refractories LLC, as administrator of the Snow Shoe Refractories LLC Pension Plan for Hourly Employees, filed a complaint on Oct. 20 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania against the defendants, alleging that they used the plan's assets and property for their own benefit.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered monetary damages that are the fault of the defendants. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for an alleged scheme to take $5.7 million from the pension plan.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants for damages plus court costs. It is represented by W. Andrew Clayton, Jr. and Worth S. Graham of The Clayton Law Firm, P.A. in Sarasota, Florida.
