PITTSBURGH — A former employee has filed a class action lawsuit against ECM Energy Service Inc., an employer, alleging violation of wage laws.

William Wallace filed a complaint on Nov. 9 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania against ECM Energy Service Inc., alleging that the employer failed to fairly compensate the plaintiff for his work.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he worked for more than 40 hours per week without being paid overtime. The plaintiff holds ECM Energy Service Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly violated the Fair Labor Standards Act.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks unpaid overtime wages, liquidated damages and court costs. He is represented by Joseph E. Fieschko in Pittsburgh and John R. Linkosky in Carnegie.
