HARRISBURG — Three employees are suing Lawrenceville Borough Authority, alleging that the water and sewer services provider violated wage laws.
Timothy Short, Anthony Magnotta and Bradley Hackett filed a complaint on Nov. 9 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania against Lawrenceville Borough Authority, alleging that the employer failed to fairly compensate them.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they worked for more than 40 hours in a week without being paid any overtime compensation. The plaintiffs holds Lawrenceville Borough Authority responsible because the defendant allegedly violated the law on overtime pay.
The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek unpaid wages, liquidated damages, interest, court costs and any further relief this court grants. They are represented by Kathryn L. Simpson of Mette, Evans & Woodside in Harrisburg.
