Bank claims heirs didn't make mortgage payments

PITTSBURGH — A financial institution is suing all known and unknown heirs of Virginia L. Marutiak, alleging breach of contract and unpaid debt.

PNC Bank National Association filed a complaint on Oct. 21 in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County against the defendants, alleging that they failed to make mortgage payments.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages due to the unpaid mortgage. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for the alleged default.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in the amount of $39,014.27 plus interest, late charges, and any advances made on behalf of the plaintiff. It is represented by Brett A. Solomon of Tucker Arensberg, P.C. in Pittsburgh.
