PITTSBURGH — A former employee has filed a class action lawsuit against Schlumberger Tech Corp., claiming that the employer violated wage laws.

Andrew Fritchman filed a complaint on Nov. 22 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania against Schlumberger Tech Corp., alleging that the employer failed to pay fair compensation to the plaintiff for overtime work.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he worked for more than 40 hours per week without being paid an overtime premium. The plaintiff holds Schlumberger Tech Corp. responsible because the defendant allegedly violated Ohio, Pennsylvania and federal wage laws.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks unpaid back wages, interest, liquidated damages, court costs and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Joshua P. Geist of Joshua P. Geist PA in Pittsburgh.
