PHILADELPHIA — A man is suing TransUnion LLC and Equifax Information Services LLC, credit reporting agencies, citing alleged negligent misrepresentation.

Wilfred Francis St. Amour Jr. filed a complaint on Dec. 2 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against the defendants, alleging that they reported inaccurate information regarding his credit history.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he lost credit opportunities as a result of the defendants' inaccuracies. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly made false statements regarding his credit history to third parties.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks actual damages, statutory damages, punitive damages, court costs and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Mark D. Mailman and Geoffrey H. Baskerville of Francis & Mailman, P.C. in Philadelphia.
